In-Situ Measurement

In-Situ Measurement without the need of Pumps or Filters

Ammonia Measurement without needing Kiosk, pump, hose or sample filtration !

Ammonia levels within the WWTP process and at the final effluent are an important measure of treatment efficiency especially for nitrifying / de-nitrifying plants. Cabinet analyzers typically have small sample tubes requiring filtration, sample pumps and a kiosk which leads to high installation and maintenance costs.

In-situ measurement using a new concept of ammonia analyzer - the Stip process buoy (PBS ammonia monitor), is now available which significantly reduces these costs since there is no need for a kiosk, pump, sample hose or filtration.
  • Parameter activated multi-bottle samplers to enable link with time of discharge and production activity
  • Robust refrigerated samplers to ensure sample preservation if organic levels high
  • Peristaltic pump suction system - less effected by grease/fats
  • simple to maintain & operate
  • Integrated flow meters for load measurement

AmNisys ISE range of In-Situ ammonia analyzers

Amnisys now compliments the in-situ ammonia measuring range of instruments available, bring a different range of capabilities and applications.

  • choose the parameter / analysis that is needed - COD BOD TOC
  • large sample flows reduces sampling errors & downtime

Applications for In-situ Ammonia measurement: Final Effluent

  • Simple and robust system that can be relied upon to give an alarm if ammonia levels increase.
  • Solids and biological fouling have little impact due to the batch settlement
and caustic fluching that occurs at ever measurement cycle
  • Ammonia GSE electrode provides close correlation to maboratory methods
  • Auto-calibration ensures accuracy of analysis
  • Remote GSM access for diagnostics / SMS test alarm messaging for rapid fault assessment.

Applications for In-situ Ammonia measurement: MLSS

  • Direct measurement within the AS tank or SBR
  • In-process measurement for nitrification and/or de-nitrification control
  • Earlier indication of treatment efficiency than final effluent
  • In-situ measurement can be combined with nitrate / DO and even inlet / outlet BOD for a complete WWTP control monitoring / control system - assessment of treatment / toxicity

In-Situ Measurement In Waste Waters For Low Cost Of Ownership

No pumps, No pipes, No pretreatments, No cabins, Rapid install & Low maintenance

In-situ Ammonia Analyser PBS

The PBS ammonia monitor is a well established and widely used Ammonia Analyzer, suitable for final effluents and mixed liquors in ASP's. It is auto calibrating, self cleans by caustic flush, and logs all the results and calibration data in its memory. Consequently the results are audit-able for greater piece of mind.

Installation takes typically 2 hrs. Routine maintenance consists primarily of topping up reagents 1/month.

In-situ ISE Sensor AmNiSys

AmNiSys is a multi-electrode
in0situ ISE sensor. It is a simpler, cheaper system than NH3Sys, but
does not include logging or autocal functions. The unit will however
operate well in crude and settled sewage. Typical electrode combinations
are: NH4, NO3, CI, K, pH.

In-situ Nitrate/Organics Detection

GoSys-ISA is a UV-VIS multi purpose spectrometer. Different substances and mixtures may be analyzed continuously, once calibrated against site samples. The calibration software is "open access" and is relatively easy to use, allowing user customization.

The sensors optical path length is adjustable, accommodating different concentration ranges and turbidity. Specially coated optical lenses enhance efficiency of the compressed at auto clean function. Only the optics are mounted in an interface module outside the test fluid, making it less vulnerable to damage & enabling high temperature operation (up to 110'C). Ideal for the food & pharmaceutical industry. Common parameters measured are: NO3, SAC, TOC, COD. Other absorbing chemicals may be measured after customized calibration.
