Steam and Hot Water are key processes involved in crude oil refinement & power plants. Contamination leads to costly corrosion within boilers, heat exchangers and pipework. The right TOC analyser can identify evidence of such corrosion and leaks quickly generating alarms and divert valves.

Peaks and Troughs can be detected quickly

If a TOC peak is detected, it is important to be sure that it is genuine. Using liquid calibration standards is difficult due to stability issues, so the Quick TOC Ultra Calibration provides a fully automatic validation of the system using a certified gas. Such a test gas is stable for a long time and is ideal for automatic calibrations.

However, the innovative method enables the use of liquid standards if required. Also cross-contamination of the sample in the loop system is practically impossible.
