InsiteIG PDO
The PDO is one of several versions of the Insite optical Dissolved Oxygen sensor - this version is designed to be used with the Insite Portable Meter (IPM).
Versions of this sensor have been successfully used for many years as part of the fixed site DO analyser system, and the older portable 3100. Additionally, we use the DO sensor in its' OEM form for integration into other products such as the MJK Oxix system.
The PDO sensor comes with a military spec connector for easy connection to the IPM. In addition it may be supplied with the custom-designed 'PortaCaddie' offering the user convenient cable management whilst offering a degree of protection to the sensor and to the hand-held logger.
Each of the 5 sensors for the IPM are interchangeable, so a single IPM can log readings from any sensor.
Like all the InsiteIG Dissolved Oxygen sensors, the PDO sensor incorporates optical fluorescence technology, solid state electronics and a unique side-mount element. The sensor is the only portable optical DO sensor that does not require replacement caps.
Nitric Oxide does not interfere with the PDO sensor.
