InsiteIG pH / ORP
There are separate sensors available for pH and ORP - these are designed to be used with the Insite Portable Meter (IPM).
Each electrode is supplied in it's own holder, and can also be incorporated into the InsiteIG PortaCaddie system like the other portable sensors in the IPM range.
The Portable Electrode Holder with replaceable PH or ORP electrode cartridge comprise the pH / ORP sensor assemblies, incorporating embedded electronics, custom geometry and a field-proven cartridge.
The embedded electronics in the PEH holder includes an electrically isolated pre-amp, resulting in reliable digital communications and temperature compensation. the flat glass double reference junction construction results in a field-proven cartridge producing long-lasting reliable measurement.
The electrodes are of a cartridge construction for ease of replacement. the cartridge is sealed intio the holder with a double o-ring seal - replacement electrodes ship with new o-rings. the threaded TNC connector ensures a reliable electrical connection to the holder.
pH [PEH51]
The center of the measuring surface is pH sensitive glass. This surface is surrounded by the flat porous reference junction. The large area of this porous junction has thousands of pores allowing for excellent sample contact.
The electrode is enclosed by the electrode body. Built into the electrode body is a sealed, gel filled double junction reference half cell. This design adds an extra barrier against contaminants. This also allows the electrode to be used in applications where sulfides, heavy metal ions, and similar materials are present.
ORP [PEH52]
In the center of the measuring surface is the ORP platinum, sealed in glass. This surface is surrounded by the flat porous reference junction. The large area of this porous junction extends the lifetime of the cartridge.
The electrode is enclosed by the electrode body. Built into the electrode body is a sealed, gel filled double junction reference half cell. This design adds an extra barrier against contaminants, that can significantly extend the service life of the electrode.
pH sensor:
- Range: 2 to 12 pH
- Temp. Range: 10oC to 60oC
ORP sensor:
- +/- 2000mV
- Temp. Range: 10oC to 60oC
The IPM can connect to the following Sensors:
- Dissolved Oxygen
- Suspended Solids
- pH / ORP
