This short paper illustrates the use of a hand held oil (PAH) meter to trace the fate of accidental oil spillage through a series of artificial lagoons.

This note details response tests of the Trios oil monitor to soluble trisol cutting oils and diesel. The results were used to determine the applicability of the system for deployment at a pipe mill site where surface run off goes to an interceptor pond before discharge to sensitive water course.
