Macherey and Nagel PF12 plus
The PF12 plus is a portable photometer for field and laboratory use, complete in a case with manual, rechargeable batteries and charger.
Based on the highly successful PF11 photometer, the PF12 offers great value and unrivaled flexibility. This compact hand-held photometric instrument reads VISOCOLOR® ECO and NANOCOLOR® tests for a wide range of water and waste-water parameters. These tests are programmed into the instrument during manufacture.
The VISOCOLOR® tests have proved themselves over many years of use in water and waste water plants. The PF12 offers both an on-screen reading for measurement in the field, and also a USB interface for transfer of data to a PC or laptop. Results can be combined with a date stamp, sample number, dilution and location for easy data analysis.
The PF12 is now joined by a range of even more compact photometers in the form of the new PF3. The PF3 portable photometer is available for specific industries and groups of analyses. You can read more about this range by clicking on the link.
InsiteIG_IPM
The InsiteIG 'IPM' has been developed to replace the well-established '3100' (Dissolved Oxygen) and '3150' (Suspended Solids) monitors. This new concept combines a removable sensor with a universal portable meter.
The new unit has been upgraded allowing it to log 250 data points rather than the previous 50 data points. The IPM has the same rugged build quality that we are used to seeing with the previous hand-held monitors from Insite IG.
The monitor will automatically configure itself when a different senor is attached. Insite currently supply the following sensors to work with the IPM:
BBE_BenthoTorch
The unique BenthoTorch is a hand held fluorometric instrument for the quick and easy measurement of phytobenthic concentrations
The bbe BenthoTorch is a cost-effective tool which enables real-time measurement of benthic algal concentrations.
It can help to improve ecological status assessment (EU WFD criteria) and optimise field sampling by eliminating the need for random sample-taking and testing, and even lengthy microscopic observation.

The bbe AlgaeTorch is a lightweight fluorometric instrument for the simultaneous quantification of the chlorophyll-a content of cyanobacteria and the total chlorophyll content of microalgae in water. The measurement of chlorophyll-a can eliminate laborious sample preparation in the lab.
A complete measurement needs less than 20 seconds. No sampling or preparation is necessary.
BBE_Fluoroprobe
The BBE_Fluoroprobe is a highly sophisticated multi-wavelength fluorometer capable of detection of different algal classes and total chlorophyll.
It has automatic compensation for yellow substances, and may be deployed manually for water body profiling portable analysis, or located long term in one place for long term studies.
